Work is advancing on the entrance archway and surrounding rockwork for Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The 2027 project is replacing DinoLand U.S.A. with Pueblo Esperanza, a new area featuring attractions, dining, shopping, and a playground.
New aerial photos show carved, painted panels installed across the upper tiers of the temple being built for Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Lower sections remain unfinished, with additional panels staged nearby as construction continues toward a planned 2027 opening.

Steel framing for Casita’s central tower is now visible at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Tropical Americas is taking shape ahead of its scheduled 2027 opening. Construction is also progressing on the land’s carousel, village plaza, dining location, and Indiana Jones attraction.
