Disneyland Resort has released details for the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash, a separately ticketed Halloween event at Disney California Adventure running on select nights from August 18 through October 31. According to the Disney Parks Blog, tickets remain available for select dates as of the guide’s publication on August 25.
The after-hours party officially runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Ticket holders may enter Disney California Adventure as early as 3 p.m., allowing access to offerings available during regular park hours before the event begins. Guests also receive a commemorative event guide and unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the party, with downloads available through a MyDisney account for up to 45 days after the photos are initially taken.
Costumes are permitted, subject to Disney’s event costume guidelines. The resort also recommends comfortable shoes and suggests bringing a sweater. Guests seeking character-inspired hair and makeup can book services at Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Treat trails will be located throughout the park, with treat bags provided upon arrival. Villains and other characters will appear along the trails, including Yzma from “The Emperor’s New Groove.” Alternative allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added treats will be available from cast members at every treat trail. Halloween-costumed characters and some characters making rare appearances will also be available at designated greeting locations.
The event’s entertainment includes “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party,” featuring music, dancing and characters associated with the Haunted Mansion. A separately bookable dessert party offers reserved seating for the street party, food and beverages, including a triple chocolate cheesecake and a Dubai chocolate-inspired filled bundt cake with pistachio crunch. Advanced reservations are recommended by Disney.
Villains Grove will return to the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail with walkthrough environments inspired by Disney villains including Dr. Facilier, Frollo and Scar. Select attractions, including Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark!, Toy Story Midway Mania! and Incredicoaster, will also be available with shorter wait times cited by Disney as a benefit of attending the party.
Additional offerings include Halloween food and beverages, the Haunted Highway Cocktail at Cozy Cone 4 – Frozen Cone-Coctions, and a new Headless Horseman Bucket available at selected locations while supplies last. Event merchandise featuring Oogie Boogie will be sold at Elias & Co, Gone Hollywood and Seaside Souvenirs.
