Disneyland Resort Announces 2026 Holiday Season Starting Nov. 13

The 2026 holiday season at Disneyland Resort will run from Nov. 13, 2026, through Jan. 6, 2027, with seasonal entertainment, attraction overlays, cultural performances, food and merchandise across the resort. World of Color – Season of Light will also return to Disney California Adventure on opening day.

Disneyland Resort’s 2026 holiday season will begin Nov. 13, 2026, and continue through Jan. 6, 2027, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The celebration will include seasonal offerings at Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure, the resort hotels and Downtown Disney District. At Disneyland park, holiday decorations will return to Main Street, U.S.A., including a 60-foot-tall Christmas tree. Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will be illuminated with 80,000 lights each night during the season. The park will also present “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” and the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular, with snowfall effects featured at several locations. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other characters will appear in new holiday attire in Town Square. Santa Claus will move to the Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn, near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. The Fantasyland Theatre will continue hosting appearances by Bluey and Bingo in “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” Seasonal attraction overlays will include Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday. The annual gingerbread house inside Haunted Mansion Holiday will mark the attraction’s 25th year of holiday-themed confectionary displays. The exterior of “it’s a small world” will be illuminated by 400,000 lights. Disney California Adventure will welcome back “World of Color – Season of Light” on Nov. 13. Holiday offerings will also include the Holiday Toy Drummers, seasonal decorations and character appearances on Buena Vista Street, and holiday activities at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Cars Land will receive its seasonal decorations and attraction overlays, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. Disney Festival of Holidays will return with six marketplaces offering new and returning food and beverage items. Guests will also be able to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass with six digital coupons for select offerings. The festival lineup will include the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade, live performances at Paradise Garden Bandstand, and “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” on select days. “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” will also return on select days. Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will feature holiday traditions, music, dance and storytelling inspired by cultures across Latin America. Its offerings will include the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, featuring The Three Caballeros, folklorico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and drummers. The three Disneyland Resort hotels will offer seasonal decorations, displays, carolers, character dining and visits from Santa. Holiday character dining experiences will begin Nov. 16 and continue through Jan. 3, 2027. A limited-time hotel offer, with savings of up to 20% on select stays of three or more nights, will be available for booking beginning Sept. 22, subject to availability and restrictions. Downtown Disney District’s holiday offerings will begin Nov. 13 and include seasonal decorations, food and beverage, entertainment and nightly snowfall. Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail will return from Nov. 11 through Jan. 6, 2027.
