The character meet-and-greet area in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland is now surrounded by themed construction walls and scrim while the space undergoes a refresh.
The area is located next to Disney Showcase and is typically used for character greetings. Beige construction walls currently block access to the location, with decorative artwork designed to fit the Main Street setting. The designs include a large green “Main Street Bicycles” sign, along with advertisements for “Chester Drawers Togs for Toddlers” and “Carriages for Hire.”
A printed scrim covers the Livery Service & Stable facade behind the walls. According to WDW News Today, character attendants in the area said the space is being refreshed. Disneyland has not announced a timeline for the work or indicated when the meet-and-greet location will return to operation.
Nearby character greetings, including Donald Duck, were continuing next door when the construction barriers were reported.
