Animal Actors On Location! will permanently close at Universal Studios Florida following its final performances on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed. The show will no longer be available beginning Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Attractions Magazine reported that Universal said the attraction will close to make way for a new experience. The resort has not announced what will replace the show or provided a timeline for the future development of the space. More details will be shared later, according to the statement provided to the publication.
Universal described Animal Actors On Location! as a show that had been part of Universal Studios Florida since the park opened. Its performances combined trained animals, comedy and audience participation, with dogs, cats, birds and other animals demonstrating behaviors and tricks associated with film and television production.
The show also brought audience members into the performance, including children selected to interact with the animal performers onstage.
Universal said it will work with its show vendor as the animals are relocated and that they will continue to receive care. The resort said it takes the role it plays in closing the attraction seriously.
The closing date has been described slightly differently in the available reports. Attractions Magazine’s account of Universal’s social media response identifies Nov. 2 as the final performance date and Nov. 3 as the first day the show will be unavailable, while Blooloop reported that the attraction will permanently close on Nov. 3. In either case, the last scheduled public performances are set for Nov. 2.
