The Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition at Disneyland is scheduled to reopen Friday, September 11, following a refurbishment that began with the attraction’s closure in early July.
According to WDW News Today, crews have removed the scrims and scaffolding that had obscured the attraction, although construction walls remain in place. The removal provides a clearer view of the rustic cabin-style building and its sign, which appear to have been freshly painted. Patriotic decorations that previously appeared on the building had not yet been returned when the site was reported on September 7.
The attraction had been covered by themed scrim since July. WDW News Today compared the building’s appearance in November 2025 with its condition in September 2026 after the refurbishment work.
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition allows guests to enter the cabin and practice their aim using more than 100 interactive targets. The experience requires guests to purchase credits, with one credit providing approximately 25 shots. Additional credits can be purchased for more shooting time.
The reopening is scheduled roughly two months after the attraction closed. The source report did not specify any changes to the shooting experience or other operational details beyond the visible work to the building and sign.
