Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside has introduced redesigned Royal Guest Rooms with Louisiana- and New Orleans-inspired details, updated furnishings, new charging outlets, and illuminated bayou artwork. The rooms also remove several of the ornate elements and Disney Princess references featured in the previous design.
The Walt Disney World Railroad will be out of service at Magic Kingdom from September 28 through October 29, 2026, with a planned reopening on October 30. The train has operated in a reduced shuttle mode since July 2025 and is expected to return to that arrangement after the closure.
